• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
• Unit Size: 24 beds, 2 operating rooms
• Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
• Scrubs: Hospital provided
• Floating: May float to other campuses or maternity units
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200-$2360

• Active Iowa RN license (Registered Nurse license required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting, including OR experience
• Proven experience with c-section and vaginal deliveries, triage, and mother/baby care
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment in the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, NRP
• Ability to float between units as needed
• Submission of updated resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, certifications, and references

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Manage patient care for c-sections, vaginal deliveries, and triage in a clinical setting
• Administer and monitor drips (magnesium, insulin, pitocin) as part of patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Float to other maternity or mother/baby units as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations
