Description

This position is located in Atlantic, IA. The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for competency-based instruction in a managed classroom, independent learning situations and online study program.

Job Duties

Duties include but are not limited to teaching Mathematics, Language Arts Reading, Language Arts Writing, Social Studies and Science concepts and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education
Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record

Physical Demands

Ability to occasionally lift 10 pounds, ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment, and ability to work with diverse populations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.
